Liquid waste does not wait. When a lagoon is filling, an interceptor needs emptying before an inspection, or a site needs clearing before the next phase can start, you need somebody who turns up with the right kit and the right paperwork.

Ashclough Contractors is a registered waste carrier operating across the UK. We handle bulk liquid waste from farms, construction sites, industrial premises and utilities contracts, and we do it with the documentation to prove where everything went.

WHAT WE HANDLE

Slurry and digestate

Bulk slurry tankering and land application, digestate haulage from AD plants, and lagoon and store emptying. Our tanker fleet includes a 3,500 gallon Conor 3500T tandem-axle tanker running behind a New Holland T7, so we can shift volume on farm ground without cutting it up.

Interceptor and separator emptying

Fuel and oil interceptors, forecourt separators, wash bay sumps and workshop pits. Emptied, inspected and documented, with waste transfer notes for your records.

Septic tanks and cesspits

Domestic and commercial, on a one-off or scheduled basis. We cover properties that mains drainage does not reach.

Wash water and process effluent

Vehicle and plant wash water, dairy parlour washings, concrete wash-out water and process effluent from industrial premises.

Site water and storm water removal

Excavation dewatering, flooded compounds, storm tanks and attenuation systems. Useful when water is holding up the programme and pumping to drain is not an option.

Emergency response

LICENSED, INSURED AND DOCUMENTED

Anybody can turn up with a tanker. Fewer can produce the paperwork when somebody asks for it, and on a utilities or principal contractor site somebody always asks.

Registered waste carrier. Environment Agency registration [number], covering the transport of liquid and hazardous wastes.

Waste transfer notes issued for every load, with waste classification codes and the disposal or recovery destination recorded.

Duty of care compliance under the Environmental Protection Act, so your obligations are covered as well as ours.

Consented disposal and recovery routes. We only tip at [licensed facilities / permitted land under a valid deployment], and we can tell you exactly where your waste went.

Fully insured, with public liability and environmental impairment cover at [£X million].

WORKING WITH UTILITIES AND PRINCIPAL CONTRACTORS

We understand that on a water company or utilities framework the tanker is the easy part. What matters is whether the contractor turning up understands the site rules, the permit conditions and the reporting.

One point of contact. You speak to the person who runs the business, not a call centre. Joe answers his own phone.

Documented compliance as standard. Waste transfer notes, disposal destinations, driver records and insurance certificates provided without having to be chased.

Plant and tankering from the same contractor. We also carry out earthworks, muck shifting, soil stabilisation and operated plant hire, which means where a job needs an excavator alongside the tanker you are not co-ordinating two suppliers and two sets of insurance.

Local response times. We are based in [location] and work within [radius], so we are not travelling three hours to reach you.

WHY FARMS AND SITES USE US

We came out of groundworks and plant, not out of an office. That means when a tanker has to get to the top of a wet field in February, or reverse into a yard with three inches either side, the driver has done it before.

Established in 2019, Ashclough Contractors has built its work on turning up when we said we would and leaving the site in the condition we would want it left in.
